About Andrea
Andrea Allen's personal brand is a mix of business intelligence, innovation and imagination. This unusual blend of practical and creative is bolstered by a strong communication streak attained as a print and radio journalist working on three continents. Her experience also includes communications roles in Hillary Clinton's US Senate 2000 Campaign, on the staff of two Australian Chief Ministers and two Government Ministers.

01 • As an entrepreneur
Andrea founded and owns Bask Event Management (Bask) in the sport, active rec, health and wellbeing events space. Bask has worked with dozens of groups and organisations to deliver events involving more than 56,000 people. The business works across the Northern Territory and Queensland with a nationwide growth strategy.
02 • As an author
Andrea created the "silly, fun" children's book The Goat and the Holey Coat. UK publishing house Pegasus Publishing will have the story on shelves by Christmas 2026.
03 • As a writer
Andrea established the media company, ASquare Media, providing writing services for magazines, newspapers and social media platforms.
04 • As an innovator
Andrea conceived, trademarked and patented MyBestie®, an innovative cleat hook designed to temporarily hang items on both vertical and horizontal surfaces. MyBestie® is undergoing final testing ahead of a manufacturing release date in late 2026.
